The Creative Mountain Studio compares creativity to climbing a mountain. At the start, the base is wide and filled with knowledge, similar to preparing for a climb with research and tools. As you climb, the path becomes less clear, symbolizing the search for the right path, which is discovered through exploration.
Reaching the top of the mountain is like finishing a creative project, representing the achievement of goals. However, this peak is often only the middle of the project’s journey. From this height, you can see the bigger picture and how different projects connect, each like nearby peaks.
Going down the mountain is also important. During this time, reflection happens, similar to thinking about what has been achieved and gaining insights for future projects. This phase is just as important as the ascent, as it prepares for the next challenge.
The role of Creative Mountain Studio in this metaphor is clear: they are the experienced guides leading the project to its successful end at the summit. This thoughtful approach comes from Ivo’s years of experience guiding adventurers through the challenges of Whitewater in the Alps.
Ivo has a background in Build environment, Avans Den Bosch.
Art & Interior Architecture degree from the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam.
While working for several architecture offices he became a licensed architect at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam.
